"Stopped by while hiking in Big South Fork. The chicken and dumplings made me tear up, they were straight out of my grandma's kitchen looking. I had the beans, kraut and sweet tea, all fantastic. Service was super gracious, quick and the whole place as just perfect. Got a cake for later, bakery is open on Saturday 9-5"

"This is a wonderful place for a Ladies Lunch OR for men to take their wives or girlfriends for a nice lunch on a Saturday. The Specials are always a hit and the regular menu, although limited has something for everyone. You can't beat the backed goods! A great place for gifts too."

The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming—they treat you like family from the moment you walk in. It truly feels like you’re dining in someone’s home rather than a business. The bakery was the perfect finishing touch, filled with all sorts of fresh-baked goodies that are impossible to resist. Such a warm, inviting place with incredible food and genuine Southern hospitality. A wonderful find that I’ll definitely be coming back to!"
